Selling Technician

 

Looking to TRADE up to a better opportunity? Davison Home Services are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our growing HVAC Technician team as a Selling technician.

 

Pay: $21.00 - $40.00+/ Hour (uncapped commission)

 

Top performers are able to make $150,000+

 

The Selling Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairing, and replacing parts on equipment as needed to meet client needs. Additional expectation is the ability to identify opportunities for system replacements, communicate those situations to the customers, and to successfully execute an on-site sale of new equipment. Technicians are expected to communicate with both the client and the dispatcher on job details and any additional important information. Maintaining accurate documentation on all jobs and communication with clients is also a must.

What you will do:

  • Diagnose any problems with HVAC equipment
  • Stay current on new products and technologies in the field
  • Run service calls – repair and/or replace parts on equipment as necessary
  • Identify opportunities for new equipment replacement – effectively communicate with the customer and install team to build and execute sales of new equipment
  • Clearly document and communicate the details of each call to ensure Bassett is able to follow up or execute future jobs as needed

What YOU will bring:

  • 1-5 Years Residential HVAC sales and service experience (Required)
  • HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school
  • Valid drivers’ license
  • Great Customer service skills and a friendly attitude
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment
  • Ability to work outdoors

Qualifications

What You’re Requirements are:

  • 1 Year Relative Experience
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Has obtained a Class E License or can obtain within probationary period
  • EPA Certification/ Trade School Certification (preferred)
  • Flexible availability
  • Written and verbal communication skills
